Job description: Overview:Actalent has an immediate opening for a Digital Marketing Specialist at our Global Headquarters in Hanover, MD!CompensationTarget Salary | $60,000 - $68,000Bonus Potential | $5,500 AnnuallyScheduleFull Time | PermanentMonday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMHybrid | 4 days in office - 1 day remoteJob SummaryThe Digital Marketing Specialist, as part of the Marketing team will support creating awareness, consideration and conversion for our various audiences through the management of various digital channels, including websites, email, texting and chat bots for Actalent and Aston Carter brands.The ideal candidate has content management (CMS) experience, knowledge of accessibility requirements and can manage, edit and maintain accurate up-to-date content on various platforms. This specialist will build customized landing pages in support of campaigns and have an understanding of reporting to prove ROI.The specialist will help to create, launch, and optimize dynamic triggered emails (automated programs) for Actalent and Aston Carter’s job seeker, consultant and client audiences. This individual will be responsible for reporting and identifying email objectives as well as staying on top of email marketing trends.This role will also learn new technologies that enable our marketing efforts and create positive experiences for our audiences.This role will partner closely with other members of the Marketing team as well as cross-functional stakeholders and technical partners. The ideal candidate will be an initiative-taker, detail-oriented and creative problem solver.Essential Functions
- Maintain and manage requests for Actalent’s and Aston Carter’s public websites using Sitecore and our career site – built by Phenom People.
- Create webpages, using templated components, to ensure they meet accessibility standards and business growth through our CMS-Sitecore.
- Successfully coordinate projects across functional teams with strong project management skills.
- Work with our translation vendor for email and website translations across both brands
- Manage incoming website requests for thought leadership content and make updates/changes from the business needed to the website.
- Be the liaison with our IS team and other operating companies within Allegis to support improvements to user experiences.
- Manage incoming email requests from the business and make updates and changes needed.
- Maintain and manage our office listings through a third-party platform and work with our location vendor to make updates accordingly.
- Continually monitor and evaluate email and website data to provide insights to the business.
- Oversee management of email campaigns including list building, template setup, editing, testing, deployment and reporting, including workflow and deployment schedule
- Help identify and develop new email opportunities to increase engagement and traffic.
- Monitor and troubleshoot email deliverability issues.
- Work with stakeholders through all rounds of proofing, changes and final deployment for both email and websites.
- Report on KPIs to key stakeholders and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Stay current with industry best practices and competitors’ programs.
- Support the implementation of additional automation tools as necessary to positively impact our consultant and client experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or equivalent business experience
- 1-3 years in web analytics experience
- Working knowledge of creating webpages using components
- Familiarity project management concepts
- Familiarity with web design and basic HTML and UX design
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong collaboration and communication with peers, cross-functional teams, and vendors
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to drive projects to successful completion.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
