Part-time Bookkeeper - remote,
We’re a consulting business with multiple LLCs seeking an organized bookkeeper, to manage a reliable financial system that will help us make smarter, more confident business decisions.
Core Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable: Entering and managing bills, organizing vendor payments, and ensuring timely payments.
Accounts Receivable: Creating and sending invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
Payroll Coordination: Entering payroll into the books, confirming accuracy, and ensuring proper flow through financial reports.
Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations: Monthly reconciliation of all business accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Monthly Financial Reports: P&L, Balance Sheet, and other requested reports delivered in a timely manner.
Ongoing QBO Support: Clean up issues as they arise, and keep books audit and tax-ready year-round.
Multiple LLCs under Parent Account: Ensure financials stay organized and properly segmented across entities.
Qualifications:
3+ years bookkeeping and payroll experience.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel/Google Sheets.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Work Environment:
Remote with occasional in-person meetings (preferred Oregon-based candidates, but open to others).
Flexible day-shift hours, Monday to Friday, (approximately 10–15 hours per week to start, potential to grow).
NOTE: On-boarding/training will be during late afternoon/early evening hours in order to accommodate current bookkeeper's availability.
Compensation:
Hourly, DOE. No benefits included at this time.
