In this role, you will provide assistance with maintaining the annual Sales &amp; Marketing budget, analyzing marketing contracts to forecast expenses, and reconciling all sales &amp; marketing expenses budget vs. forecast. You will be responsible for maintaining the annual Sales &amp; Marketing budget, including but not limited to, commitment allocation, expense tracking, invoice allocation and processing, as well as reconciliation and balance reporting.<br><br><strong>A successful Senior Financial Analyst - Commercial Services will:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Track, process and reconcile financial commitments and activity on a monthly basis; maintain records and monitor correspondence; develop/prepare reports and related budget management functions.</li><li>Work independently with departments on budget changes, enhancements or reductions.</li><li>Generate monthly, quarterly and as needed reports to Marketing Budget Manager detailing all expense reconciliation and balance to date.</li><li>Prepare and reconcile SAP report against tracked expenses monthly.</li><li>Deliver reporting on revenue projections, budget or expenditure forecasts.</li><li>Maintain, allocate, process and track all daily expense invoices.</li><li>Work independently and corresponds with all departments, global sales agencies and resorts on invoicing, budget adjustments and all applicable budget matters.</li><li>Review and comprehend all Sales &amp; Marketing contracts, agreements and standard operating procedures.</li><li>Ensure management and reconciliation of hotel expenses and provision reporting with accounting department.</li><li>Monitor ongoing tracking of forecasted marketing expenses and reduction of forecasts as invoices are paid.</li><li>Manage vendor relationships - on time payments, banking information, etc.</li><li>Act as the liaise between Sales, Marketing and Accounting departments </li><li>Assist with all other responsibilities and reporting as needed throughout the year.</li><li>Reconcile monthly/quarterly invoices for Global Sales Agencies commissions and Partner overrides.</li><li>Approve invoices &amp; allocations processed by Marketing Budget Coordinators.</li><li>Manage the implementation of new SAP software for Tracking and Reporting of Sales &amp; Marketing Budget.</li><li>Collaborate with Executive team and support staff on budget requests and forecasting expenditures making recommendations for changes in budgeting areas.</li><li>Provide ROI analysis, reports and future recommendations.</li><li>Train, mentor and evaluate staff assisting with budget development.</li><li>Educate all team members on SAP and manage the relationship with SAP.</li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.</li></ul><br><br>The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.<br><br><strong>Requirements:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree.</li><li>3-5 years accounting and/or marketing experience.</li><li>Reconciliation and reporting experience.</li><li>Industry experience preferred but not required.</li><li>Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, Report Design and Most Excel Formulas.</li><li>Exceptional time management with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize the variety of projects and assignments requiring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Fluent in English.</li><li>Ability to achieve defined objectives with minimum supervision.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently.</li><li>Good organizational skills, proactive and self-motivated.</li></ul><br><br><strong>About ALG Vacations:</strong><br><br>It all begins when our client's book with ALG Vacations.
