Job Description:
The Accounting team at Frasco, Inc is searching for a Payroll Coordinator. This individual will be working directly with the CFO and HR Director. The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for weekly and bi-weekly payroll file preparation, internal control maintenance and external agency reporting.
This is a full-time position based in Irvine, CA with work from home flexibility. Requirements:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Working with the Human Resources department to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
· Ensuring compliance with all applicable State and Federal wage and hour laws
· Ensuring accurate payment of wages, bonus and commissions
· Creating ad-hoc reports for revenue generating centers
· Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
· Reconciliation of outstanding payroll items at month-end
· Updating Employee HR files
· Performing other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Associates degree in a related field
· Minimum of 3 years payroll processing experience
· Experience in payroll batch processing
· Initiative to implement Operational Best practices
· Maintain payroll information and highest levels of confidentiality
· Experience in reporting Payroll information to external agencies
· Experience working in a business setting with multiple revenue generating centers
· Ability to create ad-hoc reporting in Excel and within payroll operating software to reduce processing time
· Must have proficiency in v-lookups, pivot tables, and formatting in Excel
· Experience using ADP, Ceridian, Paychex, Paylocity, or Sage
