VP – Campus Partnerships/Sales (100% Remote with Travel)
                                Summary
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced higher education chief enrollment officer with enthusiasm for sales and a passion for helping more students get to and through college. As VP – Campus Partnerships/Sales, you will report directly to our CEO and represent Ardeo in the higher education marketplace, leading sales to colleges and universities and representing Ardeo at conferences. If outside the Chicagoland area, you will work remotely from your home office and travel when needed to cultivate leads and close sales; anticipate travel of 25-40% based on sales season variability. A Chicagoland candidate will have a home office in our Lisle business office.
Base/Commission: Range of $120-160K base and Target commission range of $40-60K

Position Summary
Sign up new college partners. Close deals. Determine selling strategy to meet sales goals, network, generate and cultivate leads, and transition new college partners to our client service team.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
• Sign up new college partners. Responsible for full sales cycle from lead generation (with help from marketing) to signed contract, and then handoff to our client service team.
• Represent Ardeo at higher education industry conferences, building awareness for Ardeo and our program, and developing relationships with industry participants and partners.
• Network and generate leads – partner with marketing to maximize their lead generation efforts.
• Help improve sales processes from end to end – including how we generate leads, pitch leads, cultivate prospects and launch new college partners.
• Customize sales presentations to suit the prospect’s needs.
• Provide feedback from the market to teams in marketing, product development and the rest of the back office to improve our message, product and procedures.
• Work with the client service team to ensure expansion of usage and renewals.
Position Requirements
• Must reside in a state where Ardeo is a registered employer
• Must have demonstrated success as a chief enrollment officer/Vice President of Enrollment (VPE) leading enrollment in higher education
• Must have either experience using Ardeo’s LRAP product OR experience selling to/consulting with campus enrollment leaders
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
• Interested and available to travel 25-40% of the time based on sales season variability (within the continental US)
• Passion for higher education and for Ardeo’s product and mission
• Experience as a member of a college or university cabinet is preferred
• Strong sales skills (understanding prospect’s needs; showing them how our program satisfies those needs; overcoming objections and closing)
• High-energy style; motivated by winning
• Skilled at developing strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Comfortable with change and ambiguity; quick learner
• Proficient in using technology, including Microsoft Office suite and a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool (i.e. Salesforce)
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes both base salary and uncapped commission opportunity.
