Senior Engineering Manager - Big Data Innovation Leader

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager with a strong background in Big Data technologies, including Linux Systems, Real-time Technologies (Elastic Search, Redis, Kafka, Spark streaming), and GCP stack (BigQuery, BigTable, Dataproc, Spanner dB, Composer). You will lead a scrum team of engineers, working closely with global engineering teams and ops teams to build processes and tools that enable monitoring, diagnosing, and debugging of platform services and hosted applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of highly technical engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success.
 - Collaborate with engineering directors and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans for Big Data platforms and capabilities.
 - Design, develop, and maintain large-scale Big Data systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
 - Drive innovation and excellence in Big Data engineering, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
 - Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, product, engineering, and solutions.
 
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Linux Systems and 8+ years of experience in Architecture/Engineering of Big Data technologies.
 - Demonstrated experience in leading highly technical engineering teams and managing large-scale systems.
 - Strong troubleshooting, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical and business objectives.
 - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
