Part-Time North Carolina Mental Health Provider (Remote)

At TalkNow, a 24/7, 365, on-demand telehealth service, you'll play a vital role in providing emotional support to students and members (faculty and staff) in higher education. As a Mental Health Provider, you'll leverage your expertise in crisis intervention, de-escalation, risk assessment, and safety planning to make a meaningful impact.
The Role
We're looking for a dedicated professional with a master's degree in professional counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy, and experience working with populations in need of crisis intervention and support. As a TalkNow Provider, you'll:
- Act as a primary support and triage for incoming TalkNow sessions (via phone, video, or chat) using a person-centered, strengths-based approach
- Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and triage support as needed, ensuring full availability during your scheduled hours
- Collaborate with students to develop care plans, progress care, and conduct risk assessments as needed
- Document sessions, assessments, and care plans in our electronic health record (EHR) with precision and attention to detail
- Adhere to established standards for AIDET communication, clinical documentation quality, HIPAA/PHI, and telehealth regulations
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of a master's degree in professional counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy
- Strong clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills
- Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation
- A fully licensed Mental Health Practitioner with a North Carolina state license (Associate license also accepted)

Work Schedule
This part-time position requires availability on Wednesday and Thursday from 8pm-6am CST (20 hours total).
