Job Responsibilities:

  • Leading recruitment efforts to attract qualified candidates for nursing positions within specified timeframes
  • Developing and executing a local strategy in partnership with nursing leadership to meet workforce goals
  • Maintaining the Applicant Tracking System and managing job postings
  • Conducting outreach to nursing schools through class visits, career fairs, and community events
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to ensure fair hiring practices and alignment with workforce planning
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience
    • Experience in campus recruitment, particularly for nursing, is highly preferred
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in human resources or an acute healthcare environment
    • Previous healthcare recruiting experience
    • Strong internet recruiting skills and ability to source candidates creatively
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and hiring leaders
    • Excellent phone interviewing skills to evaluate candidates for cultural fit
