Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Model Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Model Risk Management Group, you'll be responsible for independently overseeing enterprise-wide models, with a focus on Gen AI (Large Language Models) and AI-based models for marketing, credit, fraud, or other business/risk types. Your expertise will help drive model excellence, strengthen long-term shareholder value, and navigate the evolving landscape of model development, external environment, and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct independent oversight of enterprise-wide models with an emphasis on Gen AI (Large Language Models) and AI-based models
  • Conduct gap assessments and establish effective structure to strengthen model risk controls and meet elevated regulatory standards
  • Lead AI/ML research to explore opportunities to enhance model excellence and drive business impact
  • Communicate results to stakeholders, senior leadership, and other model governance committees

Requirements:

  • Experience in Large Language Models or large data workstreams
  • Academic background: MBA, Master's degree in AI, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields from a top-tier institution
  • Practical skills: Active model development or validation experience, strong analytical and relationship-building skills, and experience in applying advanced statistical or quantitative methods to solve business problems
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in at least one data manipulation tool like Python, R, or Java, and experience with Gen AI/AI/Machine Learning, coding, and supervised and unsupervised techniques
  • Social skills: Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate complex scientific results to colleagues and senior management
