Technician 1 - 3rd Shift
                                About the position
Responsibilities
• Set up and monitor Coating Machines.
• Prepare the coating system and load/unload the chamber.
• Change magnetic systems and input process parameters.
• Pre-treat customer products using standardized methods.
• Make critical processing decisions to initiate the coating process.
• Disassemble and reconfigure the chamber for subsequent loads.
• Perform daily changeover maintenance of pre/post treatment equipment.
• Optimize the daily use of production equipment.
• Follow standard procedures and interpret customer work instructions.
• Work with Quality Coordinator and Center Manager to address quality concerns.
• Provide training and assistance to other employees on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Learn new skills and cross-train into various departments.
• Operate and maintain coating equipment according to specifications.
• Minimize equipment downtime through preventative maintenance procedures.
• Maintain and update equipment records.
• Assist with quality assurance and other technical matters as required.
• Interact with customers and co-workers in a customer-friendly manner.
• Receive and inspect customer product for processing.
• Establish product process sequence and inspect finished product.
Requirements
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of previous experience in HVAC, carpentry, automotive/industrial equipment repair, or construction preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cutting tools preferred but not required.
• Previous experience with coating techniques, blasting, or plating strongly desired.
• Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, and creative.
• Comfortable working with hands and able to lift 30lbs.
• Proficient in ordering supplies via the internet.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in plating or coating techniques.
• Familiarity with HVAC or industrial equipment repair.
