Job Title: Remote BCBA Job Level: Salaried Job Role: Clinical Supervisor: Clinical Director Job Description: The role of the Autism Center’s remote BCBA involves overseeing ABA therapy programs at the Autism Center. This position will supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). The BCBA will ensure the programs of assigned clients align with current trends in ABA research and adherence to best practices. Within this role, coaching and mentorship are extended to RBTs, BCBAs, and those pursuing advanced credentials in behavior analysis. The BCBA will collaborate with outside professionals and the community to maintain the Autism Center’s external relationships. Job Requirements: • Successful reference check • Clean Criminal clearances: Child Abuse, State Police Criminal, FBI • CPR/BLS Certification • Successful background check • Vital Information & Documents as specifically requested • Account for Direct Deposit • Valid Driver’s License & required auto insurance in good standing Education and Experience Requirements: • Required: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Hearing Services, or other related field. • Required: Current BCBA certification. • Preferred: Minimum 3 years of post-certification experience working with individuals aged 0-21 in a classroom or 1:1 setting; experience implementing and supervising the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. • Preferred: Minimum 3 years post graduate experience managing masters-level clinicians. Physical Requirements: • Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection. • Must maintain professionalism as a representative of the standards of quality provided by the Autism Center. Responsibilities: • Maintain caseload as BCBA of at least 130 billable hours per month. • Deliver ABA services to clients as directed in a manner aligned with the code of conduct outlined by the BACB. • Consult and collaborate with clientele, schools, daycares, medical professionals and other disciplines as it relates to service delivery. • Provide direct supervision of client care in one-to-one and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements. • Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols. • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior. • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans. • Conduct parent and caregiver training in line with client’s individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols. • Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress. • Participate in treatment integrity checks of staff. • Provide ongoing supervision to RBTs according to BACB standards. • Complete Initial Competency assessments with RBTs as needed. • Oversee authorization utilization and supervision requirements. • Collaborate with administrative management and the administrative team staff. Safety & Security Responsibilities: • Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients. • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws. • Protect the intellectual property of the Autism Center. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Working knowledge of state and federal regulations as well as insurance and funding source requirements. • Working knowledge of OBM and ABA best practices. • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with Autism Center staff, Autism Center administration, clients, collaborative professionals, supervisors, teachers, stakeholder clients, and clients. • Responsible for completing and maintaining all required certifications and trainings once employed including, but not limited to CPR, Fingerprinting & Background Checks, BCBA Certification and other company trainings as directed by supervisor. • Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols and written clinical documents.
