Network Field Operations Engineer

About the position Responsibilities • Performing optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network systems and applications to identify overall system availability and performance. • Evaluating network coverage to find gaps, making recommendations to improve coverage, and helping to implement those recommendations. • Performing triage, fault isolation, and remediation of network events. • Generating, driving, and updating problem-tracking tickets via multiple systems and continuously improving business practices. • Escalating issues to the appropriate internal/external engineer teams for resolution. Requirements • Associate's degree or two or more years of work experience. • Three or more years of relevant work experience. • A valid driver's license. • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time. • Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays. Nice-to-haves • A technical degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline. • Knowledge of telecommunications equipment and technologies like Telephony Switching, Data Communications and Network Routers. • Computer support experience, including troubleshooting PC hardware and configurations. • Vendor management experience.
