**About the Job**
As a full-stack bookkeeper, you'll be at the forefront of cross-functional collaboration, working closely with technical bookkeeping, functional bookkeeping, design, product, finance, audit, legal, and other stakeholders to drive key business initiatives and process improvements. Your days will be filled with assessing data using SQL and Python, conducting in-depth data analysis and insights, designing complex dashboards and reports, and contributing to critical bookkeeping research and planning requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Work cross-functionally with technical bookkeeping, functional bookkeeping, design, product, finance, audit, legal, and other stakeholders on processes, cycles, and projects, and assist with driving key business initiatives and process improvements
* Create and design comprehensive bookkeeping data requirements to support the continuous automation of journal entries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and efficiency in financial processes
* Lead functional process improvement initiatives to further streamline income tasks and reduce the income close cycle
* Review data quality of journal entries prepared via the Income Subledger and design Data Quality checks for identified use cases through bookkeeping requirements planning, ad-hoc analyses, new product launches, etc.
* Collaborate with the Product and Design teams to continuously improve our daily Income Reconciliation process and manage reconciliation investigation with the assistance of the analysis team
* Review meetings and evaluate impact on existing or need for new bookkeeping requirements for the Income Subledger
* Cross-collaborate with collaborating teams on journal entry streams for new or existing products for automation via the Income Subledger
* Perform monthly income bookkeeping close responsibilities, including but not limited to: GAAP income analysis, cost of income analysis, debt claims reconciliations, review journal entries, and audit close package expectations
* Conduct ad-hoc analyses and projects as assigned
**We're Excited About You Because**
* 3+ years of experience in income bookkeeping, data analysis, and business intelligence
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 Income Recognition required; knowledge of IFRS an asset
* Transitional/advanced SQL skills and ability to work with large volumes of conditional data, Python an asset
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to changing work environments
* Ability to communicate with all levels of management and cross-functional teams, both within and remotely
