About Credit & Fraud Risk Finance
Our Credit & Fraud Risk Finance team is responsible for providing fact-based, decision-driven, and high-impact Net Loss Provision forecasts and credit-risk related insights and deep analytics. We work closely with local Finance teams, Risk Management, and Marketing teams to drive prudent financial decisions and support credit-risk strategies while ensuring adherence to governance and controls.
About the Senior Analyst Role
As a Senior Data Analyst in our team, you'll be responsible for supporting Provision recoveries Forecasting & Results Analysis of our International Card portfolios. You'll work closely with Chief Credit Officers in the regions to develop and present key analyses and monthly recoveries outcomes to senior management. You'll also provide thought leadership in the development/enhancement of Recoveries Forecasting models and strategic business analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Provision recoveries Forecasting & Results Analysis of our International Card portfolios through close partnership with Chief Credit Officers in the regions
 - Develop and present key analyses and monthly recoveries outcomes to senior management
 - Provide thought leadership in the development/enhancement of Recoveries Forecasting models and strategic business analytics
 - Work cross-functionally on projects across the Risk Finance organization to help AXP meet its long-term growth targets
 
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Hands-on experience working on financial analytics using large quantities of data
 - Advanced Excel modeling skills and a high degree of scalability in PowerPoint
 - Proficiency in SQL, Hive/Yellow Brick; Python is preferred
 - TM1, Tableau, Power BI or other visualization tool experience is strongly preferred
 - BS/MS in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
 - Previous card/risk management experience and/or 1+ years of work experience is preferred

We're offering a competitive compensation package, including:
- A salary range of $55,000 to $105,000 annually, plus bonus and benefits
